- Answer The USB-C power-in port on the JCD381 will only support up to 60W. However, depending on the Make and Model of the computer, the USB-C port on the computer must support "Power Delivery" for pass-through charge. Please refer to the manufacturer of your hardware for more information on your device.

- Answer Hello Mayreeh, The j5create - USB Type-C Mini Docking Station (JCD381) is, unfortunately, not compatible with Chromebook computers. The JCD381 USB-C Mini Docking Station requires for drivers to be installed onto a computer, prior to being able to use the adapter. At this time, j5create USB display adapters are only supported on Windows and macOS operating systems -- Windows 7 - 10 and MacOS 10.8 - 10.15. Although, we do have Plug-and-Play adapters, adapters which do not require drivers to be installed onto the computer, which may better meet your needs and may be compatible with your Chromebook laptop. If your computer has a USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode, I recommend that you consider the USB Type-C Multi Adapter (JCD383).

- Answer This device does not come with a power adapter as it only provides downstream charging to your computer. You can use your computer's charger and plug it into the power in port of this device. However your computer has to have either a Thunderbolt 3 port, or Power Delivery over USB Type-C in order to properly charge your computer.

- Answer The USB-C Dual HDMI Mini Dock does not require DP Alt Mode. It will require an installation of a driver with full admin rights to complete the installation process. Drivers are available on j5create website under the "Support" tab > "Downloads/Drivers".
