• This device does not come with a power adapter as it only provides downstream charging to your computer. You can use your computer's charger and plug it into the power in port of this device. However your computer has to have either a Thunderbolt 3 port, or Power Delivery over USB Type-C in order to properly charge your computer.

• Mine didn’t. It seems like it charges through your laptop. But the product heats up really fast making it HOT to touch. Not sure if that’s normal. Only had this for two weeks. Works fine worried about the product over heating.
