You can connect this to both stock and aftermarket systems. No amplifier needed. If you don't have RCAs ran you can tap into the rear speakers instead. You can also get remote power from the speaker wires, in case you don't have that ran either. Other than that all you have to do is run a power cable, find a good ground, and secure the box down.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Our JBL BassPro 8 has its own built-in amplifier and is thus considered a powered subwoofer. In other words, you no longer need an external amplifier to power it - it can power itself. You just have to connect it to your head unit.
