- Answer The connector you're seeing is a speaker level input. It is used when your head unit or car radio doesn't have line level outputs (RCA outputs).

QuestionWill this work in a 2019 Charger with the Alpine system? I was told by a professional installer that it wouldn't work because when he splice into a speaker wire to get a signal that the whole system would shut down. I think he is shooting me some bs.

QuestionSince it has an integrated amp, can I connect it directly to an aftermarket radio or do I need an external amplifier as well?

- Answer You can connect this to both stock and aftermarket systems. No amplifier needed. If you don't have RCAs ran you can tap into the rear speakers instead. You can also get remote power from the speaker wires, in case you don't have that ran either. Other than that all you have to do is run a power cable, find a good ground, and secure the box down.

- Answer It's not recommended to have it installed in the trunk side of a sedan since its power is only enough to be placed inside the cabin.

- Answer Our JBL Bass Pro Hub has dimensions of 14-3/16” x 6-1/2” (D x H). It should fit with any 15" spare tire. You'll have to measure the inside of your spare tire hub to see if the sub will fit or not.
