Any decent 600 watt car amp should drive two of these easily. But if need more headroom, go with a 1000 watt car amp. There are plenty of either of those around for less than $100. Use a separate amp to drive your front speakers and/or tweeters.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Run one of the Kenwood amplifiers Best Buy offers or the JBL club amplifiers Best Buy offers. If I had to pick between the two, I’d go with the Kenwood. They are very underrated, sound great, and are great dependable performers. The Kenwood concert series amplifiers Best Buy sells, look identical to the Kenwood Excelon amplifiers sold by other companies. The Kenwood and JBL amplifiers sold at Beat Buy run 500 watts at a 2 ohm loads, which is what wiring two of these subwoofers will present to your amp when wired in parallel. Also if you are only running one JBL subwoofer, the subwoofer will present a 250 watt 4 ohm load to your amplifier, which is exactly what the Kenwood and JBL amplifiers provide at a 4 ohm load.
