• Yes, it does have USB. The only thing is that the USB connection is on a cable from the back of the unit. It's not on the front of the unit like a lot of the stereos that are out there.

• There is a wire that goes from the back of the stereo and you can run it to any location you want on your console. This wire is a usb input (plug your iPhone lightning cable into it) and CarPlay will start working. The usb slot is not built into the stereo itself
