No, is not apple play, connects seamlessly to your iphones Bluetooth; hands free calling and audio playback are very good. I used it with the idatalink module (sold separate) which really expands the use of this head unit you can get real-time vehicle gauges, tire pressures and even check engine codes very neat unit for the price in my opinion.
