Trying to put this in your Tacoma will be fine, it will be a tight squeeze, it would take up almost half of your cab in width, as far as running wires, that's always a challenge, also are you hooking it up to a factory radio or an aftermarket radio? if factory you will need a line output converter to splice into the factory signal for an aftermarket system. our installers will do a sub and amp setup for $99 and a line output setup for $30. if you want to save yourself hours of hours of labor and googleling, let our guys do it in store, takes about 2 to 3 hours :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a 2001 Toyota Tundra. Almost the same, just smaller cab size I think. I ended up having to take my back bench seat out because of the width of the box and it not sitting on the floor all the way. Running wire isnt hard. However it is hard to find a place to drill through the firewall. I suggest really having a friend with you, and either one of you inside and out tapping with a screwdriver to find a place you won't puncture something. I had a problem with that because of how the floor board forms and goes up into the firewall. But other than running wires through firewall, it's not hard.
