Live life loudly with this CompR dual 12-inch subwoofer enclosure. The black enclosure secures two included 12-inch subwoofers on either side of a front-facing tuned port for efficient sound projection. Internal bracing and a double-stacked magnet improve sound quality, while exterior carpeting provides durability. Use this CompR dual 12-inch subwoofer enclosure with 1000W of power.
Q: Is it difficult to install? How long? And is a 1000w amp ok?
A: My recommendation get total tech support then install it. You should use a 800 RMS amp at 2 ohms so kicker kx 800 would be perfect for this enclosure. And get the kicker 4 gauge wiring kit (150$) and maybe a line out converter (15$)
Q: Will a 600 Watt Boss Amp work with these subs ?
A: It may but it just truly will not be enough power
A: I have a 2003 Chrysler and I have these subs paired with a 1200w RMS amp, and they sound great. Although at higher volume levels, they seem to rattle everything in my car, and it took me a while to sort of sound proof everything to stop certain things from vibrating so bad that it sounded terrible. I'm guessing that with older cars, things start to get looser over time and rattle more easily. I also notice that when playing really heavy bass at higher volumes, my car's electrical system has trouble keeping up with it. My lights dim pretty bad in sync with the bass. I do not have a capacitor yet, and I am not even sure if that will help with the problem. So as far as already having another amp in your car, you may have issues with power. Just make sure to use as heavy of a wire gauge as you can to make sure you're getting as little resistance in the run as possible. I don't often run them at full power, so when using them at moderate volume levels, the light dimming doesn't happen.
Q: If i buy these from Best Buy do I get them installed for free sinse im paying 400 dollars ?
A: No, you are paying 399 for the sub. On top of that you have to buy wiring kits, install, amplifier, etc. I bought the Total Tech support which basically got me everything installed for free. I had new speakers with amp put in though.
Q: Would this fit into my 2010 suburban? What amp should i get? Where will I put it?
A: It will fit. I’m using a Pioneer GM-9601(rated rms 800 Watts) @ 2 ohm and it’s perfect.
A: Trying to put this in your Tacoma will be fine, it will be a tight squeeze, it would take up almost half of your cab in width, as far as running wires, that's always a challenge, also are you hooking it up to a factory radio or an aftermarket radio? if factory you will need a line output converter to splice into the factory signal for an aftermarket system. our installers will do a sub and amp setup for $99 and a line output setup for $30. if you want to save yourself hours of hours of labor and googleling, let our guys do it in store, takes about 2 to 3 hours :)
Q: Will this fit in my 2007 GMC Yukon?
A: Yes most definitely will
Q: Will this fit in my 2005 Acura TL? Thanks!
A: I have 98 acura. It was squeezed into the trunk but does fit
