No such thing as bridging a woofer you bridge a two channel amp to one channel for a sub. Typically a two-channel 2 ohm amplifier is bridged to 4 ohms. When wiring a woofer it's called series or paralleled... 500 watts RMS each times two for a total of 1,000 Watts RMS @ 2 ohms.

Dual 2 ohm woofer in series to 4 ohm load per woofer then parallel down to 2 ohms one speaker input on box!!!

4 ohm subs bridged to 2 ohms final impedance. 500 watts rms, 1000 watts peak EACH so 1000 total rms, 2000 total peak
