No such thing as bridging a woofer you bridge a two channel amp to one channel for a sub. Typically a two-channel 2 ohm amplifier is bridged to 4 ohms. When wiring a woofer it's called series or paralleled... 500 watts RMS each times two for a total of 1,000 Watts RMS @ 2 ohms.
