Q: QuestionI'm currently running an 800 watt kicker amp on these and I was wondering if I should move up to the 1200 watt 1 ohm amplifier by kicker? I see a lot of people running the 1200 kicker amp but what are your controls set at?I don't wanna clip my subs.

• A:Answer Do it, i have a 1200 watt skar amp and they work good i have my gain knob all the way set down and sub sonic filter set to not go above 70-80hz but i might be upgrading to a higher amp because these subs can take a bit more power

• A:Answer 500RMS / 1000w peak each. ...doubled for the dual configuration. Total for the box is truly 1000RMS / 2000w peak, and it is prewired 2ohm. I'm driving them with a very old 200w MTX amplifier, 200 real watts, it's not a cheater amp. ...and it's pretty loud. Surprisingly so. The beginning of Pink Floyd's Welcome To The Machine drops so low and so hard it verges on uncomfortable. Had my reservations about this box and subs, but the price was right. I am not disappointed. Far superior to a "universal" box with the best of subwoofers.

• A:Answer If your doing the basic install, no connectors, not nice and neat, I’d charge 100, now if you want things with connectors, heat shrink, wires hidden and neat, I would charge 250-300 because when I installed mine it took me about a whole day so to me 300 would be fair but I’m also not a professional and I don’t do it for a hobby
