“I bought this amp with my car already pre-wired. Hooked everything up the same as my old kicker 1200 watt amp. Still getting no power to the amp. Is it because of the wire gauge? I have 4 awg wire ran to the battery. Does it have to be a 0/1 AWG?”

I'm using 4 gauge wire with no issues.My guess is that the ground wire is not grounded to the car frame properly. I have the 1800 watt kicker amp.It also recommends using 0 gauge wire.
