This is not made to power other speakers. This is a self powered stand alone subwoofer. You will not be heard thumping from two blocks away. That's not what it's made for. It will add that extra thump that is non existent in factory radio.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on what you're trying to achieve. I have four 5 1/2 Stock Bose Speakers with the sub and get a good strong crisp sound. But if you're trying to show off at the beach or something, I would advise to upgrade.

Please try again later.The KICKER Hideaway HS8 powered subwoofer is designed to add that little extra kick in the low end that many entry-level, factory or aftermarket, stereo systems lack. Bass, like anything else, can be quantified and begs the question, "How much bass do you want?". The HS8 is a great solution for a little more bass for casual listening at reasonable levels, below 125 dB. If you are looking for more of an "entertain the neighborhood" style of bass, a separate amplifier with larger subwoofers and enclosure would be worth exploring. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The built in amp will not push your speakers. You could run this unit on its own and install an amp just for your speakers. If you have the space an actual sub and dedicated amp would be better. This was designed to be put into small spaces.
