the subwoofer has a switch that allows it to turn on when the vehicle is turned on. It just needs the 12v source. It’s the first switch on the back that allows remote turn on or auto turn on from the 12v on the vehicle.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.When you are hooking the sub up using the speaker wires for your input. The amp senses when there is a signal or sound coming to it from the audio system and turns the amp on. There is a switch on the amp to change it from 12v hook up (using the blue wire) or line signal from the audio system. Mine is hooked up with the line signal and works great.
