Not sure what the other guy is talking about but with 4 ohm speakers this should never clip, instead it will compress anything that would otherwise clip... It's been dynoed at 50W per channel.... its not lying. But it isn't a 1000W+ amp either.... this is the simplest way to get a calibrated auto system with a cheap head unit.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.From my experience, yes it does. I'm not happy with the one I installed and hear about once a week. It clips at moderately loud volumes and the self-calibration seems like nothing more than a gimmick. I'd look elsewhere and would've returned this one if it were for my personal vehicle.
