No touch screen on this model. You can use the trackpad, and you should also be able to use an external mouse.

In addition to the other answers, you have the option of using bluetooth mice/keyboards with this system. The upside of that is not having to waste a USB port to connect the wireless dongle for those things, as the bluetooth is built in. This only works with keyboards/mice that support bluetooth. I use them, and they work great with it.

This computer is NOT a touch screen, but you can plug a USB mouse into it or use the track pad

Yes, you can use a mouse with this device.  There is no touch screen on this model but there is a touchpad that takes the place of a mouse.
