I would say no. Honestly that mostly depends on your internet connection, but this computer is slow at processing anything. It doesn't work well with too many programs open and is slow to start and shut down.

Please try again later.This laptop will be better than most in its price segment because you get a 500GB hard drive to store stuff on, and the GPU chip can decode video by itself, freeing that load from the CPU. I recommend using a program like VLC to view video files. The internal speaker is no good for playing music though. But, pair up a good bluetooth speaker and that situation is fixed. Some streaming sites might perform poorly due to all the "extra" stuff on their pages (advertisements, etc) that might exceed CPU resources, but with the right ad blocker, even those should be ok. I don't recommend using the shadier sites anyway though for security reasons.
