“Is it possible for novice (fairly straight forward) to change out non soldered ram card? And given may void warranty - how l;ong is it warrantied for? Thanks”

I believe the warranty cannot be voided by repairing or upgrading yourself, electronics right to repair act. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electronics_right_to_repair
