• The Yoga 730 is the successor to the Yoga 720 and they come with the 8th Gen processors along with a few other changes.

• I do not think that the 8th generation will make a difference enough to wait. I got the laptop and love it!

• No. It's fast as can be already. Get it cheap now. The new processor will just make the battery last longer, but it already lasts a long time.
