Most of the push buttons for Microsoft are on the device already. However, you'll have to either purchase it as a package deal, purchase it separately, or use it for free on the Microsoft website. I've purchased 2 computers within a year, a desktop and laptop, and neither of them come with the hardware already installed. I think the makers of the software have turned it into a yearly subscription, instead of the one time payment and install that it used to be. They do have one available that's a one time payment, but it is very expensive and it doesn't come with all the programs that the subscription packages have.
