“How is the 12GB of ram architect-ed? Is it 4x4x4 or an 8x4? I am asking because I figured it usually comes in either 4,5,16,32gb. Should I know something about the performance of this machine given that it's built as a 12gb machine vs an 8 or 16? Thanks”

The Lenovo Yoga C740-15, model number 81TD0003US, ships with 12GB 2666MHz RAM soldered to the motherboard and is not upgradeable.
