A:AnswerThe microwave does have venting one way of 3 options. Out the back center top, out the upper center back, or into the kitchen top front. Because the filters are on the bottom it may not get enough air flow by sitting on a counter, also the top is not finished for looks and is made for cabinet installation. I would highly recommend you look at countertop models vs. under the cabinet styles.

A:AnswerHi Bears. Both the LG - 1.6 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave - Stainless-Steel, Model # LMV1683ST and the LMV1813ST come with mounting brackets attached on the back. The width for these unit is not quite the same and differ by 1/16". Regrettably, without the exact measurement for each bracket, it cannot be determined if that is enough to offset the placement of the support tabs on the brackets that attach to the units when mounted. You probably can use the bracket from the LMV1813ST for the LMV1613ST but to be on the safe side, please contact out Support Center at (800) 243-0000 for verification...^IFV
