• The subwoofer itself plugs in, but it connects wirelessly to the soundbar.

• The subwoofer is still powered by a power cable but it connect to the soundbar wirelessly. ^CP

• It is powered by a cord - the wireless connection is between the soundbar and the sub woofer.
