“Will the LG magic remote operate all the functions of this unit or do I need the factory soundbar remote?”

• My universal remote turns on the soundbar when my TV turns on. The only problem I'm having is the volume on my TV wont mute now when I hit th mute button. This may be a TV issue & not a soundbar issue.
