“It is connected to my tv via audio optical and when I first connected it 2 days ago it worked, yesterday it would turn on but there is a slow red flashing light and no sound, I tried a hard reset a couple of times but it did not work. Any other options?”

Depending on how it syncs with your tv, you may have to use either the native remote or the tv/ Bluetooth controller (phone/ tablet) to turn it back on. The red light is a passive or standby mode.
