You can place the wireless Subwoofer anywhere in your room. But it is better to place the Subwoofer near the main unit and turn it slightly toward the center of the room to reduce the wall reflections. Placing it behind a door might not be ideal. The Subwoofer automatically connects the first time you turn the Soundbar on via Bluetooth. Bluetooth has a range of 33 feet (10 m), but if you should not have any obstacles between the Subwoofer and the main unit or near devices using the same frequency such as medical equipment, a microwave or a wireless LAN device. The Subwoofer should be about 3.3 feet (1 m) away from such devices to prevent interference. The closer the main unit and the subwoofer, the better sound quality.
