A:AnswerCheck the light on the display panel which indicates the load size. The washer automatically selects the load size based on the amount of clothing you put in the basket.
A:AnswerYES! I am washing our KING SIZE COMFORTER in it now, there is more then enough room for the comforter to fit, it will not look like it when you first put it in the washer but once the washer begins the wash cylces it will be fine. I hated having to go to the laundry mat to was our comforter, YUCK, I am very happy with the results from this washer with our comforter, it is getting cleaned better then it ever has at a laundry mat.
A:AnswerMy washer is far enough away from the wall and my cabinets that the lid opens easily. If you have cabinets that extend more than 13" from the wall, you would have to place the machine about 6"- 8" from the wall to accommodate the lid's opening. You already have to allow a few inches for the water lines and the effluent line anyway, so you can take that into consideration. I have experienced no problem.
A:AnswerWe paid the small fee to have the delivery men install both the washer and dryer for us, so the levelling was done for us by professionals. It too them no time to handle this task, as opposed to how long it may have taken us. I would recommend letting the professionals do it next time.
A:AnswerNo way! I would definitely check and see what settings were entered. Even the standard setting our delivery professionals arranged do not take that long. If you cannot figure out the settings, I would call the business and ask this question because that length of time is just not right.. Our machine is so much faster and clothes are so much cleaner that we are thrilled.
A:AnswerWe paid a small fee for the delivery professionals to haul away the old machines and hook up the new machines. We hooked both machines in the basement laundry room, not the kitchen sink, but there were hot/cold faucets available in the laundry room for direct access.
A:AnswerI believe you can use the Kirkland brand detergent, but I would highly recommend an HE (High Efficiency) type of detergent as this Washington machine does not require as much detergent be used to clean the clothes. We definitely do not use as much detergent any longer because of the HE option. I do not know if the Kirkland brand has an HE detergent, but it is worthwhile to check this out and use it.
A:AnswerI would definitely contact the business where you purchased the machine! At 6-8 weeks you are still under warranty so if you do have a "lemon" you can replace it, I am sure. Could be a machine problem, but I wonder if it has something to do with your water? Call them immediately, at least before you do another load and ruin more clothes.
A:AnswerTo be honest with you, there isn't much you can do about this. These washers are garbage. I know, I also own a set. The only thing you can do is to add additional water, and more soap. So much for being high efficient.
A:AnswerAs it turns out, 2-prong outlets are not an option, outlets that are not sufficiently grounded are an electrical hazard. Adapter plugs and extension cords should not be used for home appliances. Please contact a certified electrician to install the right type of outlets for you.
