Yes- we did the side vent option. It’s easy to do yourself and a great option if you are limited by depth of the closet you are installing. The kit cost me about $65 online from various retailers.

Yes, the electric dryer is configured to vent to the rear. It can also vent to the side.. The side venting kit is part 3911EZ9131X and can be purchased online through Encompass Supply at https://lgparts.com/item/6690199/LG/383EEL9001B/. ^Daphane
