QuestionHow do the doors open? I need a unit with the hinges on the right and the doors open from left to right.

- Answer The washer and dryer door hinges are on the left side of this unit when you are facing it. So the handle/opener is on your right and will open moving from right to left. It's my understanding that you cannot change this.

- Answer 45° is probably fine. It does state in the installation manual that it should not be horizontal at any time.

QuestionIs it possible to have this dryer unit vented to the side and not the rear?

- Answer Gas dryers can be vented through the knockout panel on the left side of the unit as you are facing it. They cannot be vented out the right side, however. The electrical dryers have the options of being vented out the back, right, and left because there are no restrictions re: the gas connection. If space is a concern, they make a rigid flatter dryer vent that takes up less room. Not sure that is up to code but it does exist.
