If your washing machine is releasing a lot of steam that's causing the wall behind it to become wet, something may be wrong with your machine. Here are some things to check: 1. Make sure your machine is properly installed and leveled, and that the drain hose is correctly positioned to avoid water leaks. 2. Using too much detergent can cause excessive suds and overflow that can look like steam. Try reducing detergent amount and cleaning the tub. 3. Check the door gasket and detergent dispenser for any damage or blockages that can cause water to leak. Clean or replace if needed. 4. Check the drain filter and hose for any loose connections or blockages. If the problem persists, consider scheduling a repair. Remember, problems with washing machines can be complex, so if you're unsure or need further assistance, call a professional for help.
