The main wash bin isn’t big enough to hold the amount of liquid detergent needed for big loads. We measure up to “5” using a Tide cup, but only half of that will reach the max line. How can I use more than what the bin can hold? Thanks! null

You should only use to the line. That is all you need in a HE wash machine. If you want to use more use a pod. They go right in the drum.

I noticed the same thing as you. I tried this along with an extra rinse cycle. Put half your clothes in then measure up to the number 3 on the Tide cup and put the liquid on the clothes inside the bin and then add the rest of the load and close the door. Now pour the rest of the detergent in the cup up to the 2 point and add it into the detergent bin on the front of the machine and start the load.
