This washer is so easy to use. I love how I can now wash twice as much in a load as my previous 14 year old LG washer. It has a lot of options for how you want each load done, and it is quiet. I even feel like my clothes are cleaner than they used to be. I got a great price by getting the LG electric dryer too. This is a purchase that will save me money and time too.

This is my first front load washer and like the performance so far. My family is a family of 8 and we don’t have to wash every day with this washer. I had a small problem with the sound of the washer, it had stopped sounding when it was finished and no sound when turned on or off. I have a one year old son who follows me everywhere and kept pressing buttons so I thought maybe he broke it. I called the customer service number by the door on the inside and the problem was fixed in less then 5 min all together. (My son had pressed the on/off button for signal) so if you don’t like the music it CAN be turned off. I haven’t had any problems with the washer and the noise is minimal comparing to my top loader that I use to own which it would always go off balance and make very loud noises. This is very minimal but like everything that is electronic has to have some noise to it. I can hear my television and phone fine while it’s washing. I can hear my one year old on my second floor fine as well. Turbowash is a must. It rinses your clothes and saturates it while spinning. I do notice it has no water when on regular wash, but turbowash is on and off throughout the washing time. I did notice that on the “towels” selection it does keep some water in the drum while it washes along with turbowash if selected. The longest time that I’ve seen so far is 1 hour 20 minutes. The shortest time is 30 minutes. It does weigh your clothes, but I found out that if I select a different soil level it does change the minutes, if I feel it’s too long of a wash before it starts running I press pause and select a low soil level and the minutes lower. Also the spinning is quiet enough and not loud at all, the dryer is louder. I have washed comforters and pillows and it does wash and dry good. It spin drys very well to where thin material can be hung dry. Over all I have little ones and they get very dirty and the clothes come out clean I use “Shout” for very stubborn stains. My little ones like helping and they can reach perfectly and it doesn’t the height with out the stand does not bother me since I’m short in height.

This LG washer is easily one of the best upgrades I’ve made to my home. It’s quiet, fast, and surprisingly efficient. The built-in intelligence is not just a gimmick—it actually chooses the right cycle based on the load. No more guesswork.
The 4.5 cu. ft. capacity is more than enough for large loads, and the steam feature helps eliminate odors and deep-clean heavy fabrics. Clothes come out clean and fresh every time.
It connects to Wi-Fi and sends notifications when the cycle is done, which is a nice touch. I’ve stacked it with the matching dryer and the setup looks clean and minimal.
Only small downside: you need to keep the door open after use to avoid moisture buildup (common with all front-load washers). Not a dealbreaker.
If you want a washer that does the job right the first time and adds smart convenience, this is it.

These are excellent machines. Easy, user friendly interface. Great for disability as they can be high enough for regular or motorized wheelchairs (like me so I also got the raisers which are great because they have lovely drawers for storage or putting “next loads” in meantime!) and are front facing and not top facing washer/dryer set. Love it! A lot of different settings to choose from. Especially sanitary - very helpful for PETS and children. Our family and friends are full of kids and pets. When they come to stay, and we play, they know they’ll leave with clean clothes lol. ESP playing with our BIG DOG!! Cleaning his bed is a cinch. Never could say that about any previous w/d. LG IS GREAT PRODUCT! Leaving for our buyers as they are enormous and costly to move but going to purchase again in next house!! Can be considered expensive but they are WORTH IT! Great value for how much quality product this is. Reliable. Effective clean. Easy to clean itself and maintain. Long lasting. No issues so far at all since 2023. Not one troubleshoot ticket.

I'm in love with this washer! It's beautiful, easy to use, efficient, easy to clean, and it has great features and presets. I love that it alerts me on my smartphone when the load is done and ready to be dried. It really helps to speed up the process and I end up spending a lot less time doing laundry than I used to. A lifesaver!

I've been interested in washing machines since I was bout 3 or 4. From my grandmothers old washer with a wringer attached to the new machines with sensors and electronic controls. I bought this as part of a set to replace our 20+ year old set which was still working well while the new ones were on sale. If anything broke on the old machines the parts were mostly "NLA" and the new ones probably would not be on sale at that time. We have had this washer about 3 months and this is our second front loader. The different cycles are handy. Originally, I thought that all those choices were silly. I had alway selected the basic wash cycle, adjusted the wash time, the spin speed and wash temperature. Now, one selection can do all of that. Depending on the load, I sometimes need to select"Cold Wash". I like the one-button selection for "Cold Wash" and the button for extra rinse(s). I didn't pay attention at first, but I recently realized up to 3 extra rinses can be selected, not just 1. I have used the Prewash cycle a few times on especially dirty items, along with an extra rinse to be sure they were rinsed thoroughly. The clothes came out bright and clean, even using the cold water wash. I have used the steam function a few times and it seems to help clean. We have a couple old, white bed pads that we lay on the floor near the back door or outside for the dog. They had developed stains in the center. When I first washed them in the new washer, the stains were gone, but I thought that it looked like the white bed pads had a slightly yellow hue to them. I washed them a couple more times when they had become dirty and hoped to see an improvement. I tried warm water and hot water and finally used steam. The steam brightened them up. In my opinion, that was a pretty tough test. Old dirty, white bed pads can be hard to get totally clean looking. I like the WiFi feature that, in conjunction with the LG app, sends an alert to the cell phone and even the LG television when the load is done! I also like that LG installed a drain hose for the pump filter. Our previous front loader did not have that. The washer nad dryer are in a small utility room with no floor drain. I would have to drag the washer to face out the door to the back porch, then open the pump filter and let it drain onto the porch. After checking and cleaning, I had to put the cap back in, put the front panel back on and drag the washer back into place. I say all of that so those who have never had a front load washer before can appreciate what LG has done with the flip up access door and drain hose. The LG washer is much, much quieter than our previous washer, which was quieter than the top loader that it replaced. It sits on a wood floor, above the ground and I often don't know if it is running unless I look at it (from about 25 ft. away) or I am close to it. No more rumbling and shaking of the house on spin cycles. We have a queen size bed and as large as our previous washer was, we could only 1 bed pad with maybe 1 sheet or 1 comforter at a time. This washer will handle 3 bed pads or a comforter and a bed pad with ease. According to LG, it can handle a King size comforter. Ok, if you have made it this far ... it does a good job cleaning clothes, has lots of cycles to help determine what is best for the load that is being washed, it is quiet and the WiFi feature with the app. is cool. It will even notify you if you are away from home if your phone has access to the Internet. And there is the way that it holds the door open slightly to allow air in to dry the interior. Following the suggestion in another review, I wipe down the gasket, glass and inside of the door when I am through washing for the day. I forgot to mention the size. Our house was built in the late 50's. The utility room was designed for a top loading washer. The front loaders can be a little bit larger. The space is limited by a door that swings across in front of the washer. at the left corner where the dispenser door is located` I had to be careful of the dimensions of the washer. This washer fits the space with enough clearance that I can pull the dispenser door out a little bit to allow it to air dry without the door hitting it. Based on my many years of experience with washers (and dryers), the design of this washer was well thought out. I will give it 5 stars for now. I can't speak to reliability yet. Because of all of the electronics, I purchased an extended warranty. I had a circuit board go out on the previous washer and that was covered by an extended warranty. The replacement would have cost more than the extended warranty did. That was the only service call for that washer and drier for over 20 years. LG is supposed to be very reliable, but even their equipment breaks done. Just something to consider.

Excellent and fast washing performance, especially with the TurboWash feature. Unfortunately, the matching dryer is prone to have the internal steam hose come lose and leak. This happened to me, and upon googling, I found it is common. I ended up returning the pair. I do miss this washer, though.

So far so good. Bought an open-box LG after seeing how highly reviewed it was by technicians. This thing is tranquil compared to my last washer, and it will last forever and is super easy to repair if needed. Some of the cycles are long, but that's to be expected with the steam options. Speed wash does the job for everyday wear. No regrets especially for the Open Box price.

Purchased just a month ago, this machine is doing a spectacular job. I consider a king size comforter to be a large load. This machine did not struggle in any way & every inch of the bedding was thoroughly clean. There were not any dry spots because of lack of water. The different motions of the drum make sure of that. Super quiet operation. The little noise that comes from it, remind me of a well tuned engine, when it spins out a load. Of course you hear water turning on & evacuating but that's expected. Self-balancing (TrueBalance) feature is amazing. So far, I think I made the right purchase.

It's so easy to use. My kids started to wash their own clothes. They love using it so much. My cats won't get off it. They love resting and sleeping on it. Definitely recommend. I never had a problem with it, but sometimes the cat furs clog it. If you face a problem like that try putting less clothes in washer.

We replaced a very old leaking washer that came with the house. We selected the LG unit because of good reviews in both Best Buy and a leading consumer magazine. The installation crew from Best Buy was also great and fully explained how it operated. The unit is very quiet and the controls are easily understood. I expect a long and useful life.
We paired it with the matching dryer

We bought this washer to replace an older Amana top loader that was horrible for actually getting laundry clean. This unit has been a monumental upgrade in terms of how clean our clothes come out. We have two children, one of which of an infant with a spit up problem; needless to say, he generates a constant mountain of dirty clothes and spit cloths. Using the steam clean function gets the smell and stains out every time.
My main problem is that it's a noisy washer. First, the water pump closes so fast that it causes some severe water hammer. I haven't yet installed a water hammer arrestor, but I'd go as far as to say it's a requirement with this thing. It's a poorly design pump closure. The second issue is with the spin cycle. For the most part, it's reasonably quiet. However, there's one specific rpm that it hits as it's getting up to full speed that makes a horrendous clunking noise. It's disappointing given the price point and overall decent quality of the unit otherwise.

So this was a upgrade from a older LG washer that had the drum bearings go out. It functioned but sounded like a jet engine taking off. Cost to repair would of been a bit over $500 so i went looking for unit to purchase.
There were cheaper models available but im quite glad we decided to purchase this.
It functions as you woud expect but 2 added features give all the value in the world to me and both the feathers sort of relate to each other. The wifi connectivity and load sensing. You Say WHAT? ill explain.
So easy setup/install to replace my preexisting washer. BestBuy did it all and told the old one with them (for a fee,im not a fan of that) And i went thru all the details and set up the washer to connect to wifi and even installed the app on my phone. Wife got home, saw it and approved.
In laws and other family came to visit and stay for several days and my mother in law admired the washer and thru a load in. We sat down for a drink before dinner. we heard a audable chime thru the house "whats that" and then my phone buzzed. "Your load is done". All the ladies in the house went into the wash room. Sure enough everything was done.
It sensed the load wasnt that big and the load was real fast.
You think it couldnt be THAT fast or the items must be really dirty. amazingly enough its zoom quick and cleans better then the old washer we owned. its so quick that i need the app to tell me its done.
The wifi app is a real tool and not a gimmick. You have the ability to download customer wash types. like Overnight- Its a normal wash but what it does as when the load is finished it uses something called "freshcare" tumble finished loads of wet laundry for up to 19 hours to keep it from getting musty. as well as other Garment type or wash type settings.
A worthwhile purchase for us. and today 5/24 we purchased its sister Dryer to join the family (because its on sale, these things are expensive)

We’ve only had this for about a month. So far, no problems. Setting up was a little tedious because of the cramped quarters. It’s very heavy! Open up the additive drawer and push on the metal top (see picture). Be sure to remove the delivery bolts in the back (was done by the delivery men). Took me about an hour to level the feet. Make sure that they are carrying the load fairly evenly to prevent rocking.
WiFi setup was a pain in the neck (especially since I’ll probably never use it)
It took a good five minutes to figure out how to set it up for a load (didn’t read the manual) runs quiet. Seems to clean nicely. Spin cycle is very quiet and really gets the clothes dry (medium setting)

Love this machine! The speed wash feature is great and I love the fact that I'm notified on my cell when the cycle is done because my washer is in a detached garage. Everything comes out clean and it's a much larger capacity machine than my old one. No complaints. Don't forget to take all the shipping materials off the machine though, especially the drum holding bolts.

I absolutely love this washing machine. We had 2 high efficiency top loaders before purchasing this washing machine, and they don’t compare. We purchased this LG washer 2 years ago and haven’t had a single problem. It gets my husband’s very dirty (grease and mud) and 3 children’s clothes so much cleaner than our previous washing machines. I would definitely recommend this LG washing machine. This is my favorite appliance in our home.

Well, up until now I would have given my washer 5 stars my husband just informed me that it’s leaking from the bottom of the machine it’s not even 6 months old! You have to be kidding me! Trying to get a hold of someone has been a nightmare!
Just a little frustrating !!!!
I will say that this machine is so much quieter than my old machine , also has a separate towel cycle that is very efficient!! Pretty cool if I might say. Once you get use to how the control system works it is pretty easy to use.
I have never owned a LG before! Had Samsung for years and I would never buy again! This machine washes much faster after decides if I made the right choice for my washing choice…which I think is a hoot! Like I don’t know how to wash my laundry…it just adjusts the time to a efficient washing cycle…and I haven’t had any issues…now if I can just figure out how to get service! I would be very happy!! I’ll update once I get the water to stop leaking from the bottom of my machine!
