How many inches is it from the edge of washer to door handle? My concern is if an accordion door might block the door from opening if it is close to the edge. null

The distance from the edge of the washer to the edge of the door is 1.5 inches. Hinges are on the left so door handle is on the right side.

I’m assuming you mean the widest part of the door. (The grip is higher up on the door)
The edge of the door is approximately 1 3/4” away from the edge of the unit.

There is no handle extruding. It is inflated into the door. Here’s a pic with a tape measure if that helps.
