What is the best detergent to use in this washer? null

This washer is designed for use with only HE (High-Efficiency) detergents. ^Daphane

Any HE-compatible detergent will work. We use Tide liquid with good results, because that's what we've always used, but you can almost certainly find less expensive brands that are just as good. Just make sure that the label says HE on it, because use of non-HE detergents can cause excessive sudsing and possible leakage.

I think Persil is a great quality detergent. It takes very little- barely enough to cover the bottom of the dispenser cup.

Any detergent with the H•e logo on it.
