“Is there a way to set a minimum volume on this soundbar so that when I turn off the sound bar and television, it will be at that minimum level when I turn everything back on? Sound level goes to "0" when I turn everything off. Thanks”

Hi Dawn. The volume level on the LG 5.1.2 ch High Resolution Audio Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos, Model # SJ9, goes down to "0" to protect the speakers from being blown out in the event the volume is too high when the unit is turned on. Your unit supports the Auto volume function which automatically adjusts the volume level. When the output sound is too loud or too low, pressing Auto Vol on your remote control will adjust the volume automatically to an appropriate level. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have owned the same sound bar for awhile now and can say with certainty that my device retains the previous volume setting while off. This is alsp true of turning the device off at various function settings i.e. HDMI, Bluetooth, Optical. This is not the case if we encounter a power failure. In the event of a power cycle the device does restart at 0.
