“For the steamer function, will the standard water hose set up work or will I need something additional to get this to work? Just bought this with a delivery date of 1 month, but would want to know if I need to add any other items other than water hose.”

The standard water connection is sufficient.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You don’t have to buy one. The machine comes with the hoses(Plastic). They try to make you buy one at they time of purchasing, but you don’t have to buy unless you want the stronger(cooper) ones. Hope this helps! Thanks!
