• I don't think so. The cost of this machine is in the other features namely the direct drive motor which I suspect is prorated much like a programmable treadmill, which allows features that would be distructive to belt drive machines. As for WiFi, there is no added costs and is usefull if you have WiFi in your home to connect to the Powe grid to save coats. I just connected my smartphone and was supprised when I was out by the washer telling me the wash I was doing was done.
