“Anyone had any issues with the black stainless steel coating starting to peel off/chipping? I've read where this has been a problem for appliances that are coated stainless. Although I love the look, it has me torn between it and the model in white.”

I just ordered this washer and the dryer today. I'm glad we went in the store to look them over first, because I fully intended to buy the black stainless. However, after seeing all the scratches on the floor model we opted to buy white instead. My previous white washers and dryers never looked scratched. The black stainless looked horrible with all the scratches.
