  • QuestionWhere is the gas connection? Where is the power cord connected? How long is the power cord? None of this is shown in the product images.

    Asked by Rufus.

    • Answer The gas connection, if you are looking at the dryer, from the rear, is at the lower-left of the dryer. You will need to purchase a gas hose kit from a home improvement store. The gas hose kit that I bought, had various adapter fittings to hook-up to the dryer and to the gas shut-off valve. The electric power cord is six feet long and it comes from the upper right part of the back of the dryer.

  • QuestionAll of a sudden my dryer stopped beeping when I turn it on and when it shuts off. Also al of sudden it does not completely dry my clothes in the normal drying time. Filter is clean, and outside exhaust is blowing strong and warm. Any suggestions?

    Asked by GR.

    • Answer Hello there. Thank you for reaching out about your LG dryer model DLG7001W. It sounds like you're experiencing two issues: the dryer has stopped beeping when turned on or off, and it's not drying clothes effectively within the normal drying time despite a clean filter and strong exhaust airflow. For the beeping issue, try unplugging the dryer for a few minutes and then plugging it back in to reset its settings. Ensure the sound settings on the dryer are also correctly adjusted. Regarding the drying performance, despite a clean lint filter and strong exhaust airflow, there may still be issues affecting the dryer's efficiency. Check for any possible obstructions in the exhaust vent that could hinder airflow, even if it feels strong at the vent outlet. Additionally, make sure the dryer is not overloaded with clothes, as this can affect drying efficiency. If these steps do not resolve the issues, please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport so our team can provide further troubleshooting assistance. We're here to help get your dryer back to optimal performance. We appreciate your patience. —Renzo
