Hi Overthehill,

The dryer does not get plumbed into the water line. The drawer on the front is a water container for the steam and you do have to fill it manually. It’s not an inconvenience from personal experience, I only use the steam when I don’t feel like ironing something from the closet.

You put water in a bladder via the drawer on the front. It holds quite a bit of water. It will give a message on machine when you need to add water. No plumbing required.

Inside the drawer is a small tank that you fill manually.
There is no connection to the plumbing.
