A:Answer When I ordered this dryer the power cord was automatically added to the cart as mandatory by Best Buy. However, it adds a 4 prong cord by default. Last week when they called to deliver, they asked me if I had a 3 prong or a 4 prong connection (there is no standard). I looked and I had a 3 prong. They have both when they come so it didn't matter, as they are the same price. If you are buying in the store directly, just state which one you need.
