A:Answerit means if it dies like mine did after 3 weeks, you have to go thru the manufacturer, BB only allows you to bring broken products back to the store before 14 days -- a ridiculously short time. The only reason I ordered from Best Buy is that I live in a very small town - If I buy another microwave online, I'll get it from Amazon, at least they have a 30 return policy. The Best Buy appliance service line has the worst people I've ever encountered, they keep putting you on hold and give you incorrect information.
A:AnswerIt appears that the door closes flush against the touch panel. I recommend you bring your bump dots to the store and see if they will let you try it before you buy it, lug it home, set it up and then discover it won't work with them.
A:AnswerIt depends on what function you are using. The cycles often signal before the cook time is done. The reason is that your food *may* be cooked or warmed sufficiently. The signal prompts you to check it; or, if using defrost cycle, to turn the food over. If you're referring to the end of cooking signal until you open the door, I think it does continue to prompt you, but I cannot recall for sure as my LMC1575ST failed mid December in under 5 months. This is the 2nd failed LG microwave in 1.5 yrs. I am trying to resolve the issue with LG as we speak.

A:AnswerSensor reheat requires that the steam passes over the sensor, so be sure to use a container with a wide open top, like a Pyrex jug. If the oven doesn't play a little tune around the time you start to see water vapor on the side of the jug, then change to a time countdown, something is likely wrong with your oven.
