- Answer Yes, you can use cold wash. Warm is the default setting but you can change it to cold. It can be deselected by pressing the Warm Water button. The water temperature cannot be set on the Rinse + Spin cycle. ^Daphane

- Answer No, the sidekick cannot be used by itself even if you hook it up to your main waterline. I don't know what it actually needs from the main washer to work but the sidekick would not even let the water enter the washtub and an error code started to beep. Had to return it.

QuestionHas anyone installed a LG Front Loader Dryer on the SideKick WD100. LG says that the washer WM3900 can work on top of the SideKick. Not found that the matching dryer DLEX3900 can be installed on the SideKick. 2017 LG press release said will support this.

- Answer The two pedestals are sold separately. Make sure the dryer pedestal comes with clips and screws (mine didn't)
