Top Loaders and Front Loaders typically do not have the same capacities, so depending on which models you are comparing, if they have the same capacity and the water pressure is the same for both, they will fill up water at the same rate. Excuse us from stating the obvious, but a larger capacity will take longer to fill than a smaller capacity. It will also depend on how much laundry is in the tub while the washers are filling. LG washing machines use a load sensing system for the water levels. The machines weigh the load size and take your chosen options into consideration to determine how much water to use for the selected cycle...^IFV
