A:AnswerTo get the best out of your Velop (I have 5 nodes) you should go from your cable modem straight to the master node. Then use the other port to go to feed the switch.
If you can, connect the other members of the mesh also to that switch.
This way the mesh uses Wifi to talk to your devices, but the hard wire to communicate to the master node and internet.
In my case I have 3 out of 5 wired like that.
