“About how many square feet or range in an open home will this extender cover? I have a 2100sf log home and my service is downstairs. I would like to have the same wifi strength upstairs (which is all open with no walls).”

I have a 3600 square foot one story, and it helps greatly. I would think it would work well under the conditions you listed.
