I was just informed by Linksys that the EA6350 1200AC + must not be plugged into a power strip but must be plugged into the wall directly. The documentation has no mention of this during setup. Is this true? I never heard of this? null

Hi, jpmalonesr. You can plug the EA6350 router (and all our home routers) into power strips given that the strip supports 110V to 220V of power.

Ideally, it should be plugged into the wall. Mines plugged into a power strip though and it works fine.

I can't think of any reason that this would be true. Mine is plugged into my UPS with no issues what-so-ever

I have been using this Router for 10 days now and is plugged into a Fellowes Mighty Eight surge and it works fine.
