• Hi! This extender has 2 modes: Access Point and Range Extender. For the Access Point mode, it supports WPA2 Personal and WPA2/WPA Mixed Mode, while the Range Extender supports WPA2 Personal, WPA2/WPA Mixed Mode, and WEP. WEP is no longer supported in the Access Point mode since it is not secure, and it is supported in the Range Extender mode to keep the compatibility with the upstream access point.
