• I have the same repeater and had little to no results.To find ouy that WI_FI waves tend to drop down instead of a straight line of sight.Being that most outlets are on the floor anyway creates a problem in itself.IF at all possible even with an extension cord connect the devise and use it at mid height on the wall you intend to put it.Keep off the floor WI-FI signals usually dip down over length of the home.

• Hi, NicoG. You should be able to plug the extender in any position but it is advisable to plug the extender upright to properly extend your WiFi coverage.
