• I believe the wireless speed cap is in aggregate and not necessarily what each device will achieve.

• Wire is not always faster. Advancements in wifi technology can make wifi a lot faster than hardwire. Wired speed its limited up to 1000 Mbps since this is has Gb ports. Wifi speed is actually split among the 3 bands. 2.4GHZ, 5GHz and "5.2GHz". On the 2.4GHz, it is up to 1147 Mbps, 5GHz up to 2402 Mbps and "5.2GHz" up to 1733 Mbps.

• Wireless transmission is now capable of well outperforming cabled transmission. Wired transmission is limited by the use of copper.
